JURIDICAL ENCYCLOPAEDIA is an information system designed to be used in Internet.
It was created at the end of 1997 on the base of an initial structure which was analogical to the French videotex system. At the end of 1998 the Juridical Encyclopedia was transferred in HTML Standard to be distributed in Internet.
Juridical Encyclopedia is organized as a multifunctional information Web-site which contains information-headings with juridical subject-matter and other information resources related to the application of the Bulgarian legislation.
Juridical Encyclopedia contains the following items:
Acting Law – legislative statements from the Acting Law in the Republic of Bulgaria
International, bilateral and multilateral conventions, agreements etc. – documents ratificated by the Republic of Bulgaria on the strength of article 5, par. 4 of the Constitution.
Judiciary practice - decisions of the Supreme Court in the Republic of Bulgaria, the practice of the Constitutional Court, decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasburg, decisions of the Commission of the Protection of the Competition etc.
Deactivated Acts – deactivated and invalided documents of the Bulgarian legislation in their last version as operating law of 1878.
Legal definitions and terminology – all juridical definitions used in the legislative acts.
Information concerning the Juridical System in the Republic of Bulgaria, links to the law WEB-sites of National and Juridical Institutions and also links to the Constitutional and Supreme Courts worldwide.
The information in Juridical Encyclopedia is based upon the official printed edition of the Republic of Bulgaria "State newspaper" and offers a precise assistance to lawyers, scientists, students and citizens.
The information in the site is subject to actualization many times a day. Users of the Juridical Encyclopedia are physical persons nation - wide including national institutions.
